This show, from a run at the Munich Theatre Festival, respresents the early career (their first European tour) of Gran Scena with its original cast memebers. It features, of course, their ride of the Valkyries, as well as arias from Semele, Lucia (The famous Galupe-Borszkh Mad Scene), The World's Oldest Living Diva in the love duet from La Boheme, Philene Wannelle's sizzling Carmen, and the entire final act of La Traviata, featuring Madame Vera's unforgettable Violetta. Bonus tracks include the never-before- commercially-available ACT II of TOSCA, Gran Scena's most celebrated spoof, as well as Madame Vera's "In questa reggia" from Turandot. A must "party tape" for opera fans, and a suitable companion to Madame's celebrated solo DVD.
